She runs a new and upcoming business called Like a magpie...(named because of 

her love of all things sparkly!)

'I make textile wall hangings with a bit of added twinkle! Using sequins, diamante and anything that sparkles I make these hangings 
for home or businesses. These wall hangings evolve during the day:

The sparkly bits pick up the light of the environment - from natural daylight in the daytime to the colours of artificial light in the evening. Any movement in the room is seen in the sparkles and makes them shimmer. Twinkle Twinkle wall panels are perfect for bars, restaurants and busy spaces - every movement gets picked up and makes them sparkle!'

Like a magpie makes and supplies a range of handmade wall hangings for individual clients, interior designers, visual merchandisers, bar and restaurant owners and interior supply shops and boutiques.

When not sewing away, Laura also does the odd painting or two and is trying to get into Public Art Lighting Commissions.
