Recording the natural world is a preoccupation and a fascination.   As part of a recent body of work I am collecting plants, insects, soil etc and using botanical reference. With this collection from areas of land to which I am connected, I am creating large layered drawings through the use subtle changes of line quality, density and a limited palette.

Other work includes paintings related to natural forms, sculpture both soft and ceramic and some portraiture.
